I'm worn

Elijah was a great man of God. And we see here that he is coming off a major victory. He has the Northern Kingdom on the verge of revival. Mentally he is tired from the events there on Mt. Carmel. We just read about his praying for rain. Eight times he prays and sends his servant to look for the response; he is spiritually tired now. And then he runs before Ahab's chariot heralding the kings coming for 20 miles, he is physically worn. Mentally, spiritually, and physically he is tired, he is worn. Fatigue has set in. Satan likes to attack when we are at our weakest; when we are worn or fatigued in any of these areas of our lives. But it's okay to call out to God and say "Father I'm worn!" Because in these times satan is using: fear, fierce winds or words, ferocious shaking, and even fiery trials to further wear us down. But God is faithfully there for us.
