Christ Our Curse

The blessing, the inheritance, that is wrapped up in God's covenant with Abraham, cannot come by the avenue of the law for God intended for it to come by faith. But it not just a matter of design that prevents the law from being the means by which we are counted righteous by God. The law also fails in that it requires absolute obedience lest the doer of the law come under God's curse. This is where we all fail. But God has not left us in this devastating captivity for Christ has become our curse.
