Consider Your Ways

The post-exilic Jews had started to rebuild the temple upon resettling Jerusalem. After political opposition they quit building and were content to worship God in ruins. Meanwhile they were devoted to enhancing their own personal lives and building nice houses for themselves. They are perfect illustrations of our own society putting God to the side while we pursue our own selfish ambitions. What we don't realize is that when we put God to the side we put God's blessings to the side and instead of prospering become frustrated. As we begin the New Year, our prayer is that we will be more committed to putting God first in our lives and giving him the place of Supremacy. This is a must listen to for all.
