Faith in the Face of Persecution

Faith in the face of persecution is well demonstrated through Joseph, David, Jesus Christ.

and what of Stephen, appointed one of seven, by the apostles, to provide daily ministration to the disciples. He being of good report being full of faith and the Holy Spirit.
Acts 6:3-5.

1. The Testing of Stephen's Faith.
   He took up his cross and followed our LORD Jesus and he spread the Gospel. The unbelievers rejected him.
   Luke 9:23; James 1:2; Acts 7:51.

2. His Preaching Was Rejected.
   The scribes and Pharisees resisted the Holy Spirit. Light rejected brings forth more darkeness.
   Acts 7:54; Hebrews 4:12; Genesis 6:3; Romans 1:28.

3. The Object of Stephen's Faith.
   Be stedfast in the faith, knowing GOD loves you.
   Acts 7:55; Isaiah 6:1-8; Acts 8:16.

2 Timothy 3:12.
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
