Blessing Pronounced On Imperfect Saints

1. Pronouncement rather than simply prayer.
   The benediction is part of the ministry of the word and is a declaration of the blessing of God.

2. The church upon which the blessing is pronounced.

3. The grace of the Mediator.
   The blessings pronounced purchased by Christ.

4. Knowing the Father's love.
   The experimental order of blessings received.

5. Joint participation in the blessings of the Holy Spirit.
   The agency of the Spirit in applying the purchased blessings.

6. Our Triune God.
   Salvation proceeds from the Triune God alone.
