The Modern Infatuation with the Perfect Body

365

The Greek Gymnasiums became the modern public schools, and serve as the center piece of the City of Man and his modern empires. These empires are built upon an infatuation with the human body and mind, in short, humanism.

Today, this infatuation with the body is everywhere, in all of the health magazines, the women's magazines, and the schools and universities.

Tremendous pressure is placed on women especially to look a certain way, and to chisel the curves to be acceptable to the onlooking world around them.

Kevin Swanson takes on this infatuation with the body, exercise, clothing, health, and appearance, in this important message from 1 Timothy 4:8. Should women look beautiful? For whom? And what is beauty? Where does physical exercise fit into the picture? A critical message for our day.
