Jesus Baptism and Ours

Jesus when he was 30 years of age went to the Jordan River where John the Baptizer was preaching and dipping people in the river . He preached. the necessity of repentance and confession of sin to prepare for the coming of the kingdom of God when the Messiah arrived. John was the Forerunner but Messiah was coming after him. When Jesus waded in the river to John and asked to be immersed John at protested. Jesus answered him, "Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then John allowed him to be baptized. After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water.
Then a revelation, a manifestation that was the Messiah was given as witnessed by himself and by John. An opening in the sky, a descent of a dove and remain over his head and the Voice of the Father. This is my beloved Son.
