Hopes and Fears - Message 4 - Overcoming Fear with the Mind of Christ - Philippians 2:5-8; Col. 3:1-4. What does it mean that believers have "the mind of Christ?" We learn it is more than simply emulating His example of humility as He made Himself of no reputation, took on a human body and nature, and was obedient to death on the cross. His mindset helps give us perspective as we learn to set our mind on and seek those things which are above. And we find perfect peace when our mind is stayed on Him in faith and hopeful confidence. We learn also how true it is that for us, "to live is Christ and to die gain."
