The Stone (Part 2)

We continue in our study of "We've Been Expecting You" III, the second coming of Jesus Christ, by following material in the book by Greg Harris, entitled "The Stone and the Glory." Genesis 49:24 is the first Stone reference about the Messiah. But included in that verse is also the description of Him being "the Shepherd," namely "the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel." We visualize the shepherding aspect of the life of Jesus as He beautifully seeks and saves a lost Samaritan lamb in John 4. This is a beautiful love story and is similar in many ways to anyone who will ever be saved because Jesus did the same thing for us.
