Throughout Scripture God shows Himself faithful to those who have a heart for Him. In a time in which everyone did what was right in his own eyes, we see a drama of faith unfold in 1 Samuel 1:1-28. The heroine in chapter one is Hannah. Hannah's faith in God is strengthened as she pours her heart out to Him in supplication for a son. We see the faithful Hero of chapter one (God): faithful to listen, to provide, and to save.
