In the book, 9 Marks of a Healthy Church, Pastor Mark Dever lists a “Biblical Understanding of Evangelism” as Mark #5 that is required in a Healthy Church.

Dever says this: “God has given the local church the task of proclaiming the gospel to her surrounding community. Are we doing it His way, or are we unwittingly encouraging false conversions?”
