Jesus Christ - Victim or Victor?

How was Christ the LORD and King before and after He came to this earth in the flesh? Did the wicked men do anything more or anything less than God decreed from eternity? Should we feel sorry for the LORD? When did those who followed Christ on the road to the cross know that He was the Victor? Why did Christ tell them not to weep for Him but for themselves? Is it a light thing to come to the LORD Jesus in any way?
