Spiritual numbness

Many of us if we were honest would have to admit that we have grown numb. Being numb means we are just going through the motions, lack of desire, or don't even care. We can get numb to God's word, prayer, and even desire for the people of God. Circumstances of life can lead us down this path. Even guilty feelings for not measuring up discourage us and we stop trying. There are some solutions for spiritual numbness. One is to be honest with God about how we feel; even ask Him to reveal what is going on. Make sure you stay in His word. Listen to God over your emotions.
