The Behavior of Godless Gentiles

"Gentile" is a perjorative word to describe the godless. In this text, we are told that we (Christians) have spent enough time carrying out the filthy desires of the Gentiles -- drinking parties and abominable idolatries. The "Gentiles," being so clueless as to morality, are surprised that our new spiritual desires have meant the end of our former lustful desires. They do not admire us for our new dedication to godly living. Rather, they malign us.
