Is Marriage Always Best?

Is marriage always better than remaining single? Not always,if you have the gift of celibacy. The Scripture exhorts us to carefully consider how one can best serve Christ, particularly when the church is undergoing persecution. Married life brings divided interests (even though these interests are good). An unmarried person has more time to devote to the Lord's service than married Christians. Marriage is fine but one has to learn how to meet the needs of married life with service to Christ.
