God's Creation, the Garden of Eden, and Heaven

Is there a link between God's original creation, the Garden of Eden, and Heaven? It is important, even critical, that Christians understand as much as possible about Heaven since it is our ultimate goal and final destination. This teaching makes you aware of the possible links, provokes you to a deeper study, and will impact you regarding the importance of knowing as much as possible about our goal for the purpose of a more effective Christian walk.
