We can have no comfort or hope of grace if there is no growth in grace in us. We are working from our salvation, not to obtain salvation.
Timothy, because all in Asia have turned away from me (Paul), you need to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Don't be discouraged; you have grace, now grow in it! In grace will be your strength.
