The Self-Giving King

This week, we have a remarkable exposition of the self-giving of God through the Son for our sakes, and how this self-giving is known by grace through faith. We are actually given to live and through Christ, who gives himself as the bread of life, broken for us. It goes without saying that to the eyes of sight (rather than the eyes of faith), this self-giving is neither seen nor believed. But when he is received and believed, we indeed have eternal life!
