The Tower of Babel (Part 1)

This week on “Encounter God’s Truth,” we begin the final topic in our series, “Creationism Classics,” which was recorded live at Grace Baptist Bible College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Genesis 11 explains what happened when a group of people gathered in Mesopotamia—modern-day Iraq—unified in wickedness against God, and came up with a plan to defy the Lord’s will using brick and mortar to build “The Tower of Babel.”
Old Testament scholar Dr. John Whitcomb opens this section of Scripture for us, then announcer Wayne Shepherd gives Dr. Whitcomb the opportunity to explain how we should order our priorities in light of the apostasy of these last days.
