Rebel Christians #4 Rebelling against impatience

84

When our progress is slowed we begin to get agitated and may do something hurtful while angered and annoyed. We don't like to wait, such as on a train. Our lack of patience does contribute to our high blood pressure as well as other things. But Solomon has some wise counsel for us in this area. When the feet get ahead of the situation the blessings get missed. Settling for less ends up happening to us. Bad decisions because of impatience, the “it's taking too long” feeling sets in. prayer is an important ally for us. Prayer will help us seek His will, slow us down, and see what God wants. Looking, not for our options but for God's knowledge, to keep our minds and feet in sync. This will keep our foot out of our mouth, feet from slipping, and the blessings flowing because we are being patent with God's plan. What has you impatient?
