As believers we do not have a continuing city because we know this is soon gone and God will burn down and destroy our world. But a new one replaces it by Christ. Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Paul states that our citizenship is in Heaven. Everything is temporal yet we eagerly wait for Jesus Christ.
