Trusting God's Timing Pt 2

As we see the consistent sensitivity to God's timing in the life of our Lord Jesus
Christ, there is much practical wisdom and instruction to be gleaned for us.

We tend to live like we have all the time in the world. Jesus never for even on day lived like that. This is especially a theme John brings to the surface through out his gospel.

Our Lord always kept his eye on the ultimate plan of God for His life and used his time accordingly.

John 2:4 Jesus said to her ...... My hour has not yet come."

John 7:6 Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come

John 7:30 Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

John 8:20 These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

John 12:23 But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

John 13:1 Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

John 17:1 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You.

John gives us a marvelous gift in uniquely
pointing out our Lord's concern for the timing of the Father in His life.

Join us as we continue on this journey together through the Gospel of John. We encourage you to invite a friend, or a home group of friends, to listen with you. May God bless you abundantly as you listen.
