Seeing Christ in the Darkness

The seven days of creation are a beautiful type of Christ's work of redemption for the elect of God. The same God who created the heavens and earth, the sun and stars, the seas and the continents, the fish and the birds, the beasts and man from nothing, with nothing, for His own purpose in glory also designed a perfect plan of redemption for the children He chose and gave to Christ in the primordial darkness when nothing existed but the Godhead. Oh, how glorious is our great God and our Savior, and how great is His love for His elect people.
