God's Will is Specific

God is going to establish the role of Aaron and his descendants to carry out the responsibilities of the priesthood.

To indicate God's choice of Aaron and is descendents and the authority they will have in leading the people will be made clear by God's supernatural budding of Aaron's rod.

Further detailed instructions are then given by God for them to carry how the priesthood and service in the Tabernacle.

What becomes obvious is God has a specific will and way that is to be carried out. He makes that will clear by the attention to detail He gives. How He may be approached with serious regard and respect for His holiness are a reminder for us that the way has been open by Jesus Christ, but God must never be treated casually nor commonly.
