11-The Wake of Destruction

In 2 Peter 2:17-22, Peter talks about the wake of destruction left by false teachers. There are different types of false teachers and the results are different on believers and unbelievers. This message helps us understand a key truth -- that every thought of man should be tested against the Word of God. Men are fallible; God's Word is not. Even noted Christian writers such as C.S. Lewis had major theological flaws refuted by the Word of God. So spiritual discernment is needed to sort the good from the bad.
