Thorns, Mountains, Difficulties

Are you converted or merely convinced? Born-again or just trying to keep your toe in the water? Along for the ride unless the water gets rough, or are you all in come hell or high water?

I am concerned that our modern, western interpretation of the Gospel teaches people to think they are believers when they are not. I think it teaches people how to think they are converted when they are merely interested. They want to join the club with the knowledge they can leave if they decide they don't like it. That is not Christian conversion.
