The Governor and the King

Concluding this three weeks of "The Incarcerated King," we find Jesus and Pilate face to face. With two witnesses to the defense and the Governor/Judge knowing Jesus' innocence, he condemns Jesus to crucifixion to go along with the people's choice. We are reminded that God's Sovereignty necessitated the cross of Christ, but also necessitates the means to that end. Also, we are reminded that man is responsible for his actions and the end accomplished by them. Sovereignty and Responsibility always go hand-in-hand.
