When God leaves off with a question

When God leaves off with a question. Have we ever had one of those? It seems like God has just asked us something but we don't have an answer. And it seems as if He isn't in no hurry to fill in the blank for us. In times like this God is trying to do a work in our hearts but He wants us to do the digging; it is usually our own dirt anyway. His question is to probe where we don't think we need to go. Maybe to shine His light in the back corners of our closets where we would just rather forget about. To make us 'own up' to what it is that is really ailing us. Perhaps even to help us see we haven't gone so far that he wouldn't want us. God has the answer, he asks the question for us to discover the answers.
