Tidewater Baptist Fellowship Meeting

Pastor-teachers are tasked with equipping the saints to be working saints, holy ones, in an increasingly evil culture. Isaiah 53 is an incredibly strategic passage from many points of view not the least of which is its focus on the soil, the ground that Jesus grew up in. The message at the preachers fellowship begins with a soil sample of the culture reflecting on Christopher Nolan's Batman movie that exhibits unprecedented sadism. The movie nevertheless has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide, eighty million on the first weekend in the states. Does this say something about the soil of society, "the dry" ground in which the work of the ministry is to be done.
