The Son of Man is Lord, even of the Sabbath!

In the last section, Jesus, the Bridegroom, has ushered in the long-awaited Kingdom of God. The Parable of the New Wine & the New Garment are applied to Jewish rite of Sabbath keeping.

Christ has come, and as Law-giver, He has the authority to define what Sabbath keeping really entails.

Here is the true David who has authority to transcend the Old Covenantal stipulations.
