Count it ALL a Waste

"For we are those [who's hearts have been] circumcised, [and, therefore, we have been born again and made new creatures in Christ Jesus, by God's grace, through faith] who worship God in spirit, [for we worship, serve, and live by faith, not by performance, before our God and King], and rejoice in Christ Jesus [our righteousness, who redeemed us by His life and blood, reconciled us to His Father, rescued us from all His enemies, including ourselves, renews us daily for His service, He continues to grant us repentance, day after day, and one day He will return for us, therefore, we cannot but rejoice in Him] and we have no confidence in our flesh, [for it, our flesh, gains us nothing in Christ and it will not gain us anything for Him]." *Philippians 3:3 (*The brackets are the way I see it and teach it.)

This lifestyle is how the follower of Christ will live his life as He follows the Lord. In Christ, he is given over to suffer, be rejected, die to self, and be raised with power and victory. Paul speaks about this lifestyle in Philippians 3:7-11

We are willing to dispose all we have or have gained so we can gain Him. Everything in life loses its appeal next to Jesus. Paul says he counts everything as dung when he views it in comparison to the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus. But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
