17 Unity and Christ's Word

This is our foundation for unity; the Word of Christ. Unity is founded upon what we share - world seeks unity in sameness and conformity, world seeks unity in agenda. What can transform a man? What could so thoroughly change a man that he truly has no fear of death? What can change a person so that the world is no longer worthy of then. They are men in whom the Word of Christ dwells richly. When we look around at the American church today, we don't see a lot of unity. Do you know what one of the major causes of disunity in the church today is? Those that read it, don't read the Bible the same way. So one of the reasons there are divisions within the conservative, evangelical world is because of different approaches to Scripture. What is the Word of Christ? The Word of Christ is only found in one other place in Scripture. It's Romans 10:17
