Love that Always Encourages

Greg first points out that we are in constant need of encouragement because the natural tendency of Christians, especially in times of trial and in times of temptation, is toward unbelief, toward drifting away, toward the hardening of our hearts. We're so "prone to wander." Every Christian needs continual encouragement and every Christian needs to own the responsibility to encourage. The second half of Greg's message focuses on how we encourage. We encourage through speaking with constructive words (Ephesians 4:15-16, 25, 29), through singing truth-saturated songs in the church and in our homes (Colossians 3:16-17), through sharing truths that have comforted us (2 Corinthians 1:3-10), and through providing loving accountability (Galatians 6:1-2).
