Overcoming Attacks on our Joy

One of Paul's purposes in writing to the Philippians was to solidify their joy in Christ and strengthen it to endure the trials coming their way. Paul's own life was a testimony of finding joy in the midst of trials. By sharing his circumstances and practically showing them how he found joy, he encouraged them to put the same principles into practice in their lives. The same truths apply to us too.
