Jesus made no idle statements at his death. This was not a cry of desperation. Suffering was part of his life and this was the end of his suffering. He always looked to the Father and while he took on our sin.
the Father looked away from him. Because it is finished, we are saved.
all scripture concerning him have been fulfilled. Do we trust the finished work of Christ?
