Render to Caesar, Render to God

In this sermon, we consider man's hostility and implacable hatred for Christ. We consider man's foolishness in trying to trap Christ. And we consider the profound implications of Christ's statement that we are to "render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's" and "to God the things that are God's." What is the role of government? What things belong to it? What about taxes? What things are God's? What is God's relationship to the state?
