Marriage And Headship

In a day when many recoil or feel uncomfortable at the idea of male headship in marriage, the Church needs to grasp hold of the Biblical view of headship in marriage. It is not that of male domination over a cowering, brow-beaten wife. The relationship of the Church to Christ is the pattern and framework within which male headship and wifely submission is to be understood. The Bible is the perfect marriage guide and couples loose out when they depart from it. This sermon shows that the biblical assertion of male headship in marriage is as much a challenge to husbands as it is to their wives.
