Satanists, homosexuals, lesbian witches, & anti-Gospel Christians vs. the Gospel

While we were proclaiming the Law and Gospel at the Portland Saturday Market a man made a sign that read, “I’M A HOMOSEXUAL & GOD MADE ME THIS WAY!” A little later two women went a step further with a sign reading, “LESBIAN WITCHES.” As I preached the Gospel they stood next to me heckling while holding their signs high above their heads in defiance of God. Not surprisingly, there were many people who cheered them on in their rebellion against their Creator. Tragically, several professing Christians stopped by to support them in their soul damning sin, negating the necessity for repentance, and denying the need for a genuine confession of Jesus Christ as Lord for salvation. Praise the Lord, all this anti-Gospel drama made opportunity for the authentic Gospel to be proclaimed and magnified with grace and truth before the eyes of many onlookers.
