The Faith of Abraham

Aim: To experience life in continuum, from promise to fulfillment, by faith.

How Abrahamic faith aids us: by modelling life's process, and settling the soul's resolve.

Exegesis: The four dimensions of a faith walk: first, the encouragement of divine grace (v. 1); secondly, the acknowledgement of frustrated desire (vv. 2-3); thirdly, the promise of miraculous provision (vv. 4-5); and lastly, the union of God and man (v. 6).

Further application: Blessed comfort for those who have faith in Christ: if we possess it, we are justified and we will grow and shine.
