The Simplicity of the Message

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15).

What a powerful statement by Jesus Christ. In today's modern terms, there was nothing fancy here. No alter calls, no big screens, no powerpoints and no music to calm us into going up front. It is a message that is clear, concise and life altering. It is a message of hope, a message of forgiveness and the only message that Jesus asks us to take into all the world. It is the message that is throughout the old testament, the new testament and the only message that Jesus gives us in The Great Commission.
