Gospel in the Sabbath

The Fourth Commandment as it is expressed in Ex. 20 not only points us back to the creation when God rested as King over creation, it was meant to point us to the consummation when Christ comes and takes us to sit with Him on His throne. It is more than a commandment, it is a sign of our rest with Christ. It tells us to look away from our works unto Christ's works.
