Fully Persuaded

In his previous Sunday morning sermon, ("God Promises And Performs It !"), Rev Elliott looked at Luke 1: 45 -

'And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. '

We noticed that God DOES speak to His people, and He tells them things....

'those things which were told her from the Lord. '

We also saw that God WILL perform those things which He has promised to His people....

'for there shall be a performance of those things...'

In this second part of the message, we see that the fulfilment of these things which God tells His people is intimately and vitally connected with their faith....

'And blessed is she that believed......'

Rev Elliott then expands this, and takes a look at the faith of Abraham, of whom it was said....

'He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being FULLY PERSUADED that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform. ' (Romans 4:20,21)

3. The Outcome of his Faith

Yes, this great man of faith was FULLY PERSUADED !
