Jesus- God's True Tabernacle

Jesus the Messiah is the fulfillment of the tabernacle of Israel and later the temple in Jerusalem. Jesus is the perfect fulfillment of all that the tabernacled foreshadowed. The whole system of Hebrew worship that God instituted by Moses is an object lesson of the person and work of the Lord Jesus. John wrote, And the Word became flesh and took up residence among us, and we saw his glory, glory as of the one and only from the Father, full of grace and truth. .. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:14,17)
The author of Hebrews writes in chapter 8:1-2 Now in the things which we are saying, the main point is this. We have such a high priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, 2 a servant of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
