Paul Knew Who He Was
Series Sermons from the Book of Acts
There are many things which all Christians can learn from, from the life of the apostle Paul. And we have been looking at some of them over the last few chapters. Today I would like to speak to you about the importance of Paul's knowing who he was, and also the importance of your knowing who you are. It is important for every Christian to know themselves. Ultimately you cannot know yourself well unless you come to the knowledge of God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. Let me give you 3 observations on what Paul knew about himself.
1st of all – Paul knew that he was a Roman Citizen, and he made good use of it.
2nd – Paul knew how he had lived his life in relation to his conscience, and he declared it.
3rd – He knew that he was a Pharisee, and even more, a Christian, for he believed in the resurrection of the dead.
