The Liberty of the 2nd Causes

God is the 1st Cause of all things. Men as 2nd Causes have liberty but it is not the same as God's. God's liberty is absolute. He is able to will and it is done. Men's Liberty is dependent and concurrent. In the crucifixion of Christ you see both. God in love and righteousness delivered up His Son according to His predetermined plan and foreknowledge. He was crucified by the hands of wicked men.
