Jesus: The Shadow's Substance - Message 39 - Jesus' Authority - Hebrews 13:17-19. We are instructed as to how to relate to and respond to godly spiritual leaders within the church. Because of Jesus' authority over His body as its Head, He commands that we obey spiritual leaders, submit to spiritual leaders, and pray for spiritual leaders. This leadership is actually sacrificial service to Christ and His body. When done Biblically it is hard work. Here is how you help your leaders fulfill their calling.
