Parable of the Talents: The Call to Steward what God has Given

The Olivet Discourse closes with seven parables/lessons on the Second Coming and Judgment of Christ. We have already learned that Christ's coming will be at an unknown, unexpected, and unavoidable time, so we are to be ready, faithful, prepared, and warned. With this parable we can add to also be a steward.

Christians are called to do, to purposely steward what God has given them for His glory. And though saved by grace, the Christian is judged by his works and given rewards for his faithfulness.
