No God but God

Knowing that God alone is God and there is no other is just as relevant for us as it was in Isaiah's day. The folly and unreality of idols needs to be exposed. In these chapters God mocks the idols that we are tempted to trust in.

Whilst the idols of our culture may be different than Israel's we too need to be convinced of their powerlessness to save compared to the sovereign power of the One who alone made all things and who alone can redeem.
