The Word Of God

Polls say Americans revere the Bible but very few read the Bible. Why is it important to read the Bible? Psalm 119:9 says, "How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your Word." We must think on the Word often. We must be diligent to enter His rest. The Word opens our mind to His true intentions so we can line our thoughts up to His. We must digest God's Word as a weapon to defend against the temptation of sin.
