Philippians 1 Part 5 - The Absolute Priority of the Gospel

Paul lived out day by day all he was by God's grace for the sake of the gospel. It was not a side issue for him but it was what he was called by Jesus Christ to accomplish. His prayer, desire and work were all to the purpose of bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to those who had never heard so that they might be saved through faith in the only Savior. His imprisonment in the cause of the gospel actually increased the outreach of his ministry by his witness to all around him in prison and by the encouragement to preach the gospel by the saints who were strengthened by his example.
